　千葉県を代表する熱き広報紙が出そろいました。いずれの広報紙にも、広報担当者の住民を愛する気持ちがひしひしと感じられます。

　一気に４紙をレコメンド。

　広報なりた(成田市)１１月１日号特集「安心安全−加速する防犯まちづくり」。１２ページにわたり小学生への防犯活動を掲載。

　市政だより四街道(四街道市)１２月１日号特集「引き出せ!地域力−地域のつながりと連帯感」。１０ページにわたり地域力を引き出す活動をしている人をインタビュー形式で紹介。

　広報くじゅうくり(九十九里町)１２月号特集「過去と未来を結ぶ魂」。１４ページにわたり伝統芸能に携わる人を紹介。

　広報しばやま(芝山町)１２月号特集「今、ここにあるもの」。１８ページにわたり、「大地」を重奏低音的なテーマとして住民の活動を多角的に紹介。

　コンセプトや手法は違っても、いずれの広報紙にも住民への愛を感じるのは、わたしだけでしょうか？！

気付けば今年も残りあとわずか。
今年最後の12月号は、過去最高の特集規模に。
だけど、理想と現実の狭間で、
実現できた部分、実現できなかった部分があり、
達成感と悔しさ半分半分でした。

振り返れば、今年は私にとって広報人生の中で最高の年でした。
全コンで出会ったたくさんの同志。
腐りかけていた自分に光が差し込んだ瞬間でした。
表彰式から帰ってきてからは、
とにかく思うがままに突っ走ってみました。
それは、広報担当になったときのような新鮮な気持ち。

そして最近、感じるようになったのは、
「思いは伝わる」ということ。
これまで、市民のみなさんからの反響があまりなかったのですが、
今年はたくさんの貴重なご意見をもらうことができ、
それがまた励みとなりました。

今年で広報歴５年。
もしかして最後の挑戦の年だったのかもしれません。
広報は思いを形にできる仕事。
残された時間は、いったいどれくらいあるのかな・・・。
まだまだやり残したことがたくさんあります。

手元に届く全国の広報紙を見て、刺激を受ける日々。
とにかく突っ走ろう！

　全国津々浦々の広報担当の皆さん、残すところ今年もあと１ヶ月。大きな後悔はありませんか。

　わたしのこの一年は多忙の極みでした。秘書と広報の二足のわらじを履くわたしには、怒涛の一年でした。激しい市長選挙を経て、新市長誕生・・・。どうにか１２月１日号で大型(？)特集を組むことが出来ました。

　特集を組んだ号が発行された後、少しの達成感と大きな後悔をいつも感じます。今回の特集は１０ページにわたり、地域力を引き出す活動をされている方々を紹介しました。この特集を組むに当たり、どうしても扉の写真が決まりませんでした。ついにわたしは女房とその関係者に頼み込み、やらせ写真を掲載してしまいました。特集をイメージさせる重要な写真を・・・。禁断の果実を食べたように感じました。

　心の痛みと嫌がる女房たちへの「取材依頼料」を出した財布の痛み。どちらもいずれ劣らぬ大きな痛みでした。

　さて、１２月は大型特集を組んだ素晴らしい広報紙が多く発行される月です。先ほども自治体ホームページで拝読し、大きな感動と自分の能力不足を痛感した次第です。これらの素晴らしい広報紙を目指して、これからも頑張ろうと素直に思いました。

　わたしはいつまで二足のわらじを履いていられるのだろう。(独り言です)

昨年のNIHGTさんのような「かっこよすぎ」（シショー談）ではなく、
むしろ、日帰り参加は広報を手抜きしているようなもので申し訳ないです。
家づくり、子どもの受験などのための生活にシフトしている近況。
その反動からか、走りながら１人になる時間が欲しかったようです。
相変わらず子どもに悩まされ……しかし、それは親の鏡。

20Dさん、会いたかった（「湯雅和楽」以来）ので残念です。
降水の不安がなければ午後９時ごろに白石発を予定していました。
少し、ドラマチックに当日、国見SAでかまぼこを買っていると
反対車線を20Dさんが通過、みたいなかんじかもしれません。
来年の東北サミットは『天鏡閣』のある猪苗代町だそうですけれど
その前に、きっとどこかで会う機会があるでしょう。
空の鏡に自分を映したら、何となく「Oh! クラウディア」みたい？
（流れる雲のイメージはここからなのですがテーマを意識しすぎた引用）
ちなみに、かつていっしょに広報を担当していたSは同町の出身です。

ヒカルさん、メディアとのかかわりも広報によって増幅されています。
美術館、観光に移動しても投げ込みのしやすさはありがたいものです。
いっしょに飲み歩いていた記者さんとの付き合いは異動後もありますし、
当時の担当者さんが他の支局やセクションを経て記者クラブに戻ったり
テレビ収録では以前に番組を制作していた会社やスタッフと再開したり
同時代に仕事をした方から新しいつながりが生まれたり
自分の行っていたことが時間を超えて映し出されるときでもあります。

やっと訪れた中途半端な連休と振替休暇を生かして外構と作庭の準備。
ホームセンターほかで材料を入手、庭師さんと石探しに出かけ、
できれば年内にプチ枯山水的坪庭と蹲踞モドキの造作に入る予定です。
向き合い、自分の存在を感じさせてくれる庭を目指したい……
たぶん、理想は大きく持ったほうがいいでしょう。

まいさん、１年間お疲れさまでした。
かつて「流れる雲を追いかけて」を終えたとき、セキララの大切さを感じました。
そのときにはわからないかもしれない自分を、後の自分が観ることにもなり
けっこう、自虐度、自愛度、止揚度が高いです。

朝に鳶さんと打ち合わせする準備をしながらラウンジでひとやすみ。
テキストは１画面以内を心がけているのですが、長文になり失礼しました。
自分を映すモニターのようなものを持ち続けることを意識しつつも
12月を前にすでに「RUNNER」になり、屈折、乱反射状態です。

東北広報サミットは残念ながら参加できませんでした。
３年前、合併当初に一緒に仕事をした５人で、
昨夜久しぶりに飲みました。
事務事業の調整などでドタバタしながら
みんな必死になっていた時だったので、
たくさんの思い出があります。
そんな話をしながら、
「時間が止まればいいのに」
と思っていました。
しかし、時間は止まるどころか
強烈な眠気と胸焼けとともに
朝がやってきます。

さて、私は整理整頓が苦手で、机の上が片付いていることは
ほぼ１００％ありません。
なので、赤ペンと消しゴムをよく見失います。
特に赤ペンは、お気に入りのものなので、
失うとあせります。

広報担当になってからというもの、
胸ポケットに必ず、ボールペンと赤ペンを挿しています。
インクがなくなるまでボールペンを使い切った達成感。
替え芯を使うようになったのも最近のことです。
けれど、落としたり忘れてきたり、
すぐになくしてしまいます。
替え芯が残るので、本体もまた同じものを探し求めることになります。
